Our Mini-SS Extra Grip Scales are a perfect addition to your Montana Knife Company Mini-Speedgoat 2.0 and Mini Stoned Goat (not compatible with the Mini 1.0) These scales feature deep grooves and additional texture compared to our original Mini-SS Scales.
The Scales are fully compatible with the original kydex sheath that comes with the knives and only weigh 0.60 oz. We recommend waxing the knife body prior to scale installation for added protection against corrosion.
The scales are designed with locating features that allow the two sides to click together in the correct orientation and also allow for easy alignment to the knives themselves. The scales are held together by two stainless steel Gulso bolts. There are no metal struts in the SS scale design and the screws simply need to be slightly snugged down to be tight enough. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN or you risk damaging the Nylon scales. A drop of blue loctite to prevent screw loosening is always a good idea for any semi-permanent screw installation, and we encourage the use of it on these screws.
The Nylon 12 material is incredibly durable and is very resistant to absorbing moisture, making it a great choice for field dressing and cleaning of animals. It can be washed clean with simple soap and water and allowed to dry before reassembling on the knife. The colored options are cerakoted and we expect the color to wear a little with use and give a really cool battle worn vibe.

If you are not satisfied with your product, within 30 days of the invoice date, contact us for further details of resolution. If the product is returned in the same condition it was received, we will refund the product minus taxes, shipping, and a 10% restocking fee.
